QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, in the Human Service field. Prefer two years’ experience in the care and treatment of the Seriously Mentally Ill Adults; ability to express self clearly and effectively in oral and written communication; ability to work independently and the ability to function within a team. Knowledge of individual and group behavior with special emphasis on problems of the mentally ill. Must be 23 years of age, have a valid Alabama Driving License and a clean driving record.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide group instruction with emphasis on developing self-care, social adjustment, and basic living skills.
Provide individual instruction in daily living skills.
Provide Case Management services to adults identified as seriously mentally ill and having specialized needs.
Obtain relevant information in order to develop service plans for clients.
Prepare appropriate service documentation for Clinical Record.
Establish liaisons with other service agencies/services in the community.
Work with clients to establish third party benefits.
